$1000 Scholarship Essay Contest held in 2024

Our law firm wants to help the future generation of Philadelphia personal injury lawyers by giving them an annual scholarship of $1,000 for educational expenses. The scholarship can be used for school-related expenses, such as tuition, books, room and board, etc.

To apply, please write a 500+ word essay on why an education is important. Give us examples of how you’ve persevered through challenges and obstacles to get an education. What have you learned from these challenges, and how will that prepare you for the challenges you face as a student in a higher education environment? Show examples and defend your answer.

Participants Must Meet The Following Criteria:

  • Participants must be enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university in the United States
  • Submissions must be received by July 31, 2024
  • Winners will be announced on our website by July 31, 2024
  • Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (or equivalent)

  • Support your essay with examples: Include examples from your academic achievements, experiences, and other extracurricular activities.
  • Highlight your strengths: The scholarship participants must highlight the accomplishments that make them deserving of the award and other personal qualities that align with the scholarship’s eligibility criteria.
