They Booted My Car!
Though it is not as upsetting as finding your vehicle missing, no one is ever happy to find their car has been booted by the city. Suddenly you find yourself unable to drive and in relative desperation to have these foreign objects removed from your car immediately.
Well, in this instance such motivation is a good thing, as you need exercise relative haste in this matter because you have only 72 hours from the time the car was booted to reach resolution before your vehicle is towed.
But why was your car booted in the first place? As opposed to most instances of towing, which are related to an immediate parking offense, your vehicle will be booted due to your neglect over a period of time in the form of Unpaid Parking and/or Red Light Tickets.
Once you have three or more unpaid tickets, the PPA and Philadelphia police will be more than happy to boot your vehicle. You will need to pay the underlying fines, any associated penalties, and a $150 boot fee to have the boots removed.
